I first heard of mind-mapping when I was a student in the UK. I think the Open University had Tony Buzan explaining how it works. This was back in the 1970's. I've used the method ever since. I like to use a pencil and paper whenever possible. Tha...

How easily can you set up group meetings?

In my case…only with one click!

Yes, it is possible with Timebridge (and I do use Outlook). I downloaded the little app from Timebridge for free, and now it looks up my available times, presents to me a pleasant easy-to-use interface where I can invite people for a phone call or a meeting on my available times (or when I would like to have the meeting).

How do you map your mind?

What tools are you using to sort through complex concepts, map what you have in mind or brainstorm with your clients?

I have been using Mindjet’s MindManager. It has evolved being an indispensable tool for me. With the latest version Mindjet added online group collaboration as well. Dear Mr Alpdemir,
I graduated from Cal State East Bay last year with an MBA degree in Finance and Strategic Management. I'm looking for an entry-level job opportunity, whether in the form of full-time job or temporary internship. My primary goal is to get experience in the areas that interest me the most. My interests lie in the areas of investments, business consulting and financial services. I believe that I possess high degree of creativity and excellent analytical abilities. I'm a fast learner and a fast performer.
My resume and formal cover letter are available upon request, and I will be grateful for any opportunities.

Ahmet, I am sorry to say that while I have the book Primal Leadership in my library, I have only read a portion of it. I am a fan of Richard Boyatsis as a researcher and believe that Daniel Goleman is very insightful in regards to human behavior in the work place.

If you have an interest in the neural functions of the brain and how that affects behavior, I would also suggest you google David Rock and his work.

Thanks for your note, I will certainly pick up this book again and finish it.

What is the focus oft he work you do?

Congratulations on joining the IMC Board, Ahmet. I was on the Board a few years ago and found it quite fulfilling. We are lucky to have your talents.

Welcome to NCCN Ahmet. If you have not already done so, please join the South Bay ABC group on this Network, and attend any of their monthly breakfast meetings in San Jose. You are welcome to attend all the other ABCs too. If you are in the Clean Tech or sustainable business arena, I'd like to meet up with you next time I'm in South Bay. Let me know how I can be of service.
