Thanks for the comments Dave. The Monterey session was a lot of fun. Except for driving through the biggest storm of the year to get there, it was a nice way to start the week.

Welcome to any new members of this group who joined after that session.

Jeff Thompson presented the How to Get Started in Consulting program to the Monterey Bay Consultants Group (ABC) 2/23/09. He was very well prepared, graphics were appropriate and to the point, particpants did not hesitate to add their thoughts and concerns. This was an outstanding way to introduce the consulting profession. I highly recommend that you get Jeff to help you present a series on becoming and prospering as a consultant to groups in your area. Many are hungry for this information right now. We have no better way to grow IMC.

Online, indeed any additional resources, are always welcome regardless the age of the consultant, ahem, or the practice!

That's a great idea. It would be great to break it up into segments and allow time for questions/interaction.

I'd like to encourage those people who are considering starting a consulting practice to join this group. If we get enough interest here, I think we should consider a command performance of Jeff's well received workshop on the topic.

I am also interested in creating a forum for collecting online sites, tools, resources, etc. that can be helpful to consultants.
